About this package

encrypted, deduplicated backups Vykar backs up directories and command output into a repository on a local path, SFTP, S3 or its own REST server. Data is split by FastCDC, identified by keyed BLAKE3, compressed with LZ4 or zstd and encrypted with AES-256-GCM or ChaCha20-Poly1305 under an Argon2id-wrapped key. A YAML file holds the repositories, sources, retention and hooks. . This package repackages the official x86_64-unknown-linux-musl release binary (sha256 verified), a static executable with no library dependencies. It ships the client only: no vykar-server, no desktop UI and no systemd unit (see roles/gitlab_vykar in the vlessvds repo).
