metrics scraper and forwarder for VictoriaMetrics vmagent scrapes Prometheus-format targets - node_exporter, any service's /metrics - and pushes the samples to one or more remote-write endpoints. While an endpoint is unreachable it buffers to disk and replays when the endpoint comes back, so a host on a flaky link or one that is switched off overnight loses no samples. . Same repackaging as victoria-metrics, with a `vmagent` user, /var/lib/vmagent for the buffer, /etc/vmagent for the scrape configuration, /etc/default/vmagent for the arguments and its own hardened unit, not enabled on install.
