log database from the VictoriaMetrics authors (single node) VictoriaLogs stores logs and answers LogsQL queries. It ingests over many protocols - journald's own upload protocol (systemd-journal-upload), syslog, JSON lines, Loki, Elasticsearch bulk, OpenTelemetry - so most hosts need no agent beyond what systemd already ships. . This package repackages the official release binary (sha256 verified) with a `victoria-logs` system user, /var/lib/victoria-logs for the data, /etc/default/victoria-logs for the arguments and a hardened systemd unit that is neither enabled nor started on install.
