About this package

rsync over UDT for long, fast links udr runs rsync with its data channel on UDT, a reliable transport on UDP, instead of the ssh connection. ssh logs in and starts udr on the far side; the transfer then runs over one UDP port, picked from a range on the host that receives. On a link with a long round trip and some loss, UDT's congestion control can keep the link fuller than TCP does. . udr must be installed on both hosts. Its -n option encrypts the data channel with a cipher that carries no integrity check, and it is not a substitute for a tunnel; see udr(1).
