handle and deliver alerts from Prometheus-compatible rule evaluators Alertmanager receives the alerts vmalert or Prometheus fires, groups and deduplicates them, holds silences and inhibitions, and delivers notifications - e-mail, Telegram, webhooks and many more - on a routing tree. . This package repackages the official release binaries (sha256 verified) in the Debian archive package's layout: /usr/bin/prometheus-alertmanager and /usr/bin/amtool, the `prometheus` system user, /etc/prometheus/alertmanager.yml, /var/lib/prometheus/alertmanager for silences and notification state, and /etc/default/prometheus-alertmanager for the arguments. The hardened systemd unit is neither enabled nor started on install; the seeded arguments bind loopback and disable the high-availability gossip listener, which upstream opens on 0.0.0.0:9094.
