dashboards and exploration for metrics and logs Grafana queries time series and log databases and draws them as dashboards, with ad-hoc exploration, alert views and a kiosk mode for a wall display. . This package repackages the official Grafana OSS build from upstream's .deb (sha256 verified) under /usr/share/grafana, without documentation, frontend source maps or the bundled datasource plugins this fleet does not use - the Prometheus datasource is kept. It adds a `grafana` system user, /var/lib/grafana for the database and plugins, /var/log/grafana, /etc/grafana with its provisioning directories, and a hardened systemd unit, grafana-server.service, that is neither enabled nor started on install. /etc/grafana/grafana.ini is seeded empty (every setting at its default) and is not a conffile.
