About this package
simple DNS proxy with DoH, DoT, DoQ and DNSCrypt support dnsproxy is a simple DNS proxy by AdGuard that supports all existing DNS protocols including DNS-over-TLS, DNS-over-HTTPS, DNSCrypt, and DNS-over-QUIC, as both a client (upstream) and a server (listener). . This package repackages the official release binary (sha256 verified) with an `adguard-dnsproxy` system user, /etc/adguard-dnsproxy for the config, and a hardened systemd unit that is neither enabled nor started on install - write /etc/adguard-dnsproxy/config.yaml first (see roles/adguard_dnsproxy in the vlessvds repo). . The vendor prefix is deliberate: Debian ships an unrelated program as `dnsproxy` (a DNS query proxy by Armin Wolfermann) at a version that sorts above this one. Nothing here collides with it - different package name, different binary, different unit - so the two can even be installed side by side.
